Chuck is so involved with Raleigh, his mouth and his body, pressing eagerly against the man, that the shriek of the kettle has him jump away in surprise.
He snorts when he realizes what it is and tosses his head, scrubbing a hand through his hair.
Raleigh's startled but when he realizes what it is he actually laughs, squeezes Chuck's hip and brushes their lips together again before wriggling away from the all so he can pour two cups of water.
He makes a sound against Raleigh's mouth, arms sliding around his waist. "I wondered," he groaned into Raleigh's lips, gripping his sweater and bunching it under his hands. "What it'd be like with you."
Screw the sweater. Raleigh's pulling it over his head and dropping it on the floor. He's just in a wifebeater under it, lump underneath indicating he still wears his tags, even though he's no longer military.
"What do you think so far?" He murmurs, mouth moving from Chuck's gorgeous, plush lips to his neck, teeth scraping over skin.
"--Fuck," he was about to answer you before you started doing that you impatient human. Chuck sags back against the wall, mouth open as Raleigh ravages his neck.
"Not, not bad," he pants, sliding his palms over Raleigh's back. "Not what I pictured."
Because he didn't really picture anything concrete.
If Raleigh wants to take a step back, Chuck might take a layer off.
Not bad, hmm. Raleigh's gonna have to do better than that, then. She sucks sharply on that gorgeous neck, licking the salt from his skin before he pulls back, hands squeezing his hips.
That's okay. Raleigh will peel them all off with his teeth if he must.
He takes Chuck's hand, guides him into the tiny bedroom and sits on the edge of the bed with a sigh. He aches, he always aches and he leans over to tug his boots off with a groan.
Might be important to note that he's considerably scarred up - there's a reason he always wears sweaters and long sleeves.
He goes with him easily, leaning over top of him and dipping his head low to kiss him thoroughly, deeply, tongue sweeping over his lips and plunging in his mouth, mapping it out and relearning it again and again.
Raleigh's wifebeater comes off then and it's tossed on the floor, his hands eager to find Chuck again and push at his layers, a soft laugh huffed against kiss stung lips.
"Anchorage," he murmurs. He figured he'd told Chuck that at some point
but...most of their time together had been spent playing and splashing and
soaking up the sun.
He lets Chuck tug his hands and Raleigh glances up at him, then gently
pulls it free and carefully puts it aside with the rest of their clothes.
Chuck shifts under him, flips them over on Raleigh's bed and looks down at him with a proprietary expression on his face.
This is before he leans down to slide their lips together some more, hands sliding up his sides and taking his time exploring his mouth, breathing out through his nose and trying hard not to grin. It disrupts the kissing.
Raleigh smiles sheepishly up at him, eyes hooded and heavy with emotion.
He's entirely comfortable with Chuck's hands on him, sliding over his sides
and over scarred flesh, though he's sort of giving Chuck a wary look,
silently begging him not to run or be disgusted.
The smile he's trying to hide, though -- that has Raleigh cupping his face
and chuckling quietly, breath a soft whoosh against his lips.

"I got earl grey. That okay?"
no subject
Does Raleigh really still want tea?
no subject
He's distracted yes, but they should...talk, right? About things? About where they go from here and what happens and--
Nghhh.
Fuck the tea.
He marches right back over to Chuck and sweeps him into his arms, crushing their mouths together in a desperate, bruising kiss.

"Bedroom...?"
no subject
....there are several layers to go through.

He does frown and reach for the side of Raleigh that's scarred, running his fingertips over the scars with a light touch.
no subject
He shivers when Chuck touches him, heat rising to his cheeks and he glances away, hands curling on Chuck's hips, thumbs brushing the hem of his shirt.
"Shrapnel."
no subject
If he doesn't that's okay. Chuck'll just move his mouth down his arm.
no subject
"Not now. Later."
Because Chuck is incredibly distracting and talking about old war wounds and trauma isn't what he wants to deal with right now.
no subject
"We've got better things to do," he agrees.

"Were you cold...?"
no subject
"It's not as though you've got a protective layer of fat keeping you warm." Humans are so weird.

His hands linger at the skin though, pulling back because he's not sure if it's allowed or how comfortable he is.
no subject
He notes Raleigh's hesitation and reaches to put his hands over his, pulling them to the skin. "Go ahead."

Chuck smiles.
Raleigh won't keep him. Not like that.
He leans up to keep kissing him, hands curling around his wrists and pulling them to his waist.
no subject
He wouldn't. He would never.
Raleigh grips Chuck's waist, fingers digging in, breath coming in increasingly rough pants, mouth seeking purchase; please, please kiss him, love him, touch him.

You stole his skin back for him, Raleigh, there's nothing about you that could make Chuck disgusted with you.
That's setting Chuck off, snickering quietly and leaving soft nips over his lower lip.
