Why wouldn't he? Chuck is cute, funny when he's not being a jerk, warm and cozy and Raleigh likes hanging around him.

"Why now, though?" Is it because Raleigh's drunk?

And it's getting pretty close to telling Raleigh he had a huge crush on him, but Chuck's tongue is loose from orgasm and rum and he can't tell.

He shrugs.

"If you don't want to, that's fine too." Because Chuck's really questioning him and he's not sure if that's good or bad.

Chuck tries to muffle a yawn against Raleigh's hair.

It's late. They're tipsy and sex stupid. Sleep is probably good.

He's getting kind of tired and dopey.

"...I dunno." Cos he doesn't it's just that he was expecting something more.

"Did you know?" That's a horrifying thought. Is that why he's being so cool?

"I could only guess. I really thought you didn't like me..I couldn't figure out why or what I'd done."

And it has sucked. A lot.

A lot of variables for Chuck. He understands that.

"Okay." He's pretty sleepy too, lids heavy and comfortable in Raleigh's hold.

They have a date and they've had this conversation and fooled around. This is progress.

Raleigh keeps him nice and close, fingers tracing patterns against Chuck's arm before finally dropping off to sleep.

Chuck's pretty comfy and he likes sleeping like this with Raleigh but he's still debating sneaking out in the morning.

If he tries to sneak out, Raleigh will definitely wake up. He's a light sleeper, always has been.

It'll be a little awkward, Chuck trying to get his shit and flee.

It's not--fleeing, he just doesn't wanna see if it Raleigh changed his mind.

Besides, maybe he just wants to put his pants on without waking Raleigh up.

Awkward, cause Raleigh's definitely squinting at him, shivering because now he's cold.

"Leaving me, Hansen?"

"I just wanted to put some pants on before whatsisface walks in," Chuck says quietly, even though Raleigh's awake. It's early, it's time for quiet voices.

He's like 80% sure that Chuck is full of shit but he'll roll with it.
